Chicago 48th Ward Alderman Chris Lawrence

Chris Lawrence.jpg
I must say on a selfish note, I am very impressed with the next Alderman of the 48th Ward Chris Lawrence. Chris has what it takes to bring the last 16 years of predictable politics as usual, to an end. I met Chris at our local coffee shop on Broadway tonight, Coffee Chicago, a local hangout for political types. Many people do not understand the “Team 48” that control the local political process with an iron grip. Chris is very knowledgeable and Mary Ann Smith will meet the superior candidate soon. Chris is needed, as the TIF programs are benefiting insiders, and local politicians war chests. Chris is a War Hero with a bronze star, an American War Veteran. Dear 48th Ward, please take a close look at Chris Lawrence and give him your support. email info@lawrenceforalderman.com Also Chris is getting his web site up and running soon visit http://www.lawrenceforalderman.com Chris will go to bat for Chicago City Workers, and find ways to resolve the Corruption and Clout. Chicago City Workers support Chris Lawrence.

Brigid, Jesse Jackson Jr. Sarah with Chicago's next Mayor?

Brigid Jesse jackson Jr, Sarah.jpg
Chicago City Workers, have you had enough of Mayor Daley? The lies, blame game, and waiting years for Contract Settlements? Well let me tell you, Jesse Jackson Jr. has a new web site and I hope all of you go and check out what is going on. I also suggest you donate some money to the cause. Any Chicago City Worker that votes for Daley, and the Chicago Mob, must be a village idiot. Unions such as 726 Teamsters will not endorse Daley. I suggest Jesse Jackson Jr. stop the hesitation and get in the race for the next Chicago Mayor. Please get first dibs on this site http://www.runjesserun.org/ Photo by Patrick McDonough.

Eugene Wzorek sued Chicago in Shakman Decree

Eugene Wzorek.jpg
We are looking forward to the only person that has beat the city of Chicago for violating Shakman violations. What you might not know the City of Chicago has settled some violations off the books. Eugene is a very intelligent and a reformed minded person. More on this later. Photo by Patrick McDonough

Des Plaines TIF's under attack

Des Plaines TIF's signs.jpg
A movement is underway in Des Plaines Illinois to wrestle back control of the City Council’s demands to regulate TIFs. Some citizens are demanding a referendum to stop the spread of Tifs in Des Plaines, Illinois. What started out as a small TIF area, is quickly turning into a large multiple TIF expansions. Illinois politicians that pride themselves on clout and corruption, have taken to TIFs like a Chicago Alderman to a cash stuffed envelope. Bottom line, Des Plaines abuses TIFs and TIFs are privatizing your property taxes. I hope this community learns this will shortchange the homeowner. The Tifs have not worked in Chicago, so why would Des Plaines want the same nightmares and headaches Chicago Citizens are stuck with? Photo by Patrick McDonough.

Shakman Violation Update for Chicago City Workers Douglas Matton

Doug Picture.jpg
On October 24, 2006, after a long day of work, I had the privilege of meeting with Douglas M. Matton. Douglas is an attorney that is been asked by multiple Chicago City Workers regarding their rights in the Shakman Decree Violations plaguing the Daley Administration. Prior to contacting any attorney, some basic things must be in proper order so you are not wasting a lawyers time and money. Organization is a must, have a copy of all paperwork, such as applications, bid forms, notes on all recollections, conversations, interviews, times, dates, anything and everything, ect… I suggest if you embark on this journey you must not look back, all you know must be put forward, selective memory is not winning attitude. Rachel Goodstein next Alderman 43rd Ward Chicago

Rachel 3.jpg
The best choice for Alderman is in the 43rd Ward. Since the 43rd Ward is well educated, I will write accordingly. The best candidate in Chicago’s 43rd Ward is Rachel Goodstein. Period. Expect an official announcement from Rachel just after the November General Elections. Petitions are printed and circulated. Rachel is perhaps best known for being the President of the Friends of Meigs Field, when Daley illegally XXX’d the runway. This action due to the out cry of future leaders like Rachel, open the floodgates that lead to Hired Truck Scandal, and Hiring Scandals that have rocked the Daley Administration.
Her commitment to responsive open good government are the result of her first hand knowledge of the City. She is committed to put in check the scandals, squandering, and skulduggery in Chicago Politics. Photo by Patrick McDonough

Massive Fraud and Homeless Problems in Chicago

Lincoln Park.jpg
As we all know , I try to teach my children Democratic Values as they have been taught to me by my parents. Patrick McDonough was reading an article to his brother Michael in Chicago’s Lincoln Park. The article was “12 cited in home fraud”. In Chicago Mayor Daley tries to paint to the world everything is o.k. in Chicago. Since Chicago is afraid to have the needed Inspectors to protect the neediest among us, more people will end up homeless. Lincoln Park is in the 43rd Ward under the direction of Vi Daley, a Mayor Daley rubber Stamp. Time to clean that mess out of office. A while ago, many of these great residents told me they want change. I told them, “If your smart enough to live in Lincoln Park, why would you vote for Vi”? They said Bye, Bye, to Vi. Chicago Worker Safety Update Workers Compensation

One of the items I have fought for for years is Excavation Competent Person Class. This training, as I written about prior, is the needed training Chicago Safety Department Employees never provided. I am glad this training is now available. Also the training for the new laborers is a wise investment. John F. Spatz, the Department of Water Management Acting Commissioner, is getting the Department into the 21st century. This will save taxpayers millions of dollars over the long haul. Enough of Clout and Corruption in Chicago. Also thanks to Fran Spielman of the Chicago Sun-Times. Please read. http://www.suntimes.com/news/hired/31568,cst-nws-hired07.article Patrick McDonough
