Great News for Chicago Clout Fans, Alderman Robert Fioretti still fighting!

Just a couple of days ago, I had an inspirational phone call from my favorite Alderman in Chicago, Robert Fioretti. Robert Fioretti is the well-respected Alderman in the 2nd Ward. Robert is facing personal challenges with his health, but things are looking better every day. Make sure you say a prayer for Robert's continued improvement and we pray he is back in the saddle for the 2nd Ward. God bless you all this New Year! Thanks for the "Hello" Alderman!

Alderman Joe Moore for the 49Th Ward Heartland Cafe Fundraiser

Chicago's Alderman Joe Moore Fundraiser On November 15, 2010, the 49Th Ward held a nice fundraiser for Alderman Joe Moore. The party was at the famous Heartland Café 7000 North Glenwood in Chicago’s Northeast side. I was really happy to see Joe and also met with him very early in the morning downtown. I am certain Alderman Moore was very, very, tired from a long day. It was very nice to see all of his loyal supporters. I watched the video of neighbors in the 49Th Ward working together as a team to solve issues. I do not recommend many Chicago Aldermen’s return to duty, but I do strongly support Alderman Joe Moore. Pictured with Joe Moore are David, Patrick and Michael McDonough. Photo by Patrick McDonough. Please reelect Alderman Joe Moore.

Chicago Clout introduces Philip Bernstein to the 48th Ward in Chicago

Philip Bernstein Chicago Clout.jpg Philip Bernstein is running for 48th Ward Alderman against lifetime politician Harry Osterman. Philip wants to bring real professional, management to the ward, and give a voice to the over 62,000 residents who currently are not being heard by their government. Additionally, Philip wants to bring an independent, analytical voice to City Council, and participate in the improvement of that body with the objective of improving the management and efficient functioning of the city government. Bernstein is a trained economist, with over 2 decades of experience owning and running a small business, and has over 2 decades of experience in the management of large scale civil projects, some of which have benefitted the City of Chicago. I hope everyone gets involved to remove corruption in the 48th ward. Philip website is http://bernsteinforalderman.com/default.aspx Photo by Patrick McDonough

Jay Stone "The Peoples Choice for Mayor of Chicago"

Jay Stone on Chicago Clout This morning was very nice when I met Jay Stone in the 48th Ward of Chicago’s North side. Jay Stone was part of the Shakman Settlement and understood the importance and significance of the ruling. Ben Joravsky one of Chicago’s best Journalist, has written about Jay and his political predictions. Jay has an amazing understanding of Chicago politics. I guess the apple does not fall far from the tree. Jay Stone’s website is http://stoneformayor.com or you can call him at 773.469.2526 I really like this picture of Jay and took some artistic liberty with it. Photo by Patrick McDonough.

Who will be the next Alderman of the 48TH Ward?

The 48Th ward in Chicago has been poorly served by Mary Ann Smith for a mighty long time. Any slop Mayor Daley served up to Mary Ann Smith was eagerly gobbled down. Mary Ann was at the trough for far too long. Two candidates could not even get on the ballot last election, because of Mary's staff of political experts. I really wish Mary Ann Smith would have spent that time looking over proposals the Daley Administration dumped on us. Mary Ann would blindly vote for everything and anything. Many parts of the ward vastly improved thanks to the massive cash influx during the last couple of decades. Andersonville is a great neighborhood. Many improvement have been made to the ward but the decay is evident more each day. The infrstrucure in crumbling, sewers, water main leaks left for weeks are on the increase. 48th Ward Superintendent Conrad Suerth has been one of the bright points in the ward. Conrad was a ditchdigger at the political Chicago Water Department. Connie dumped ship after the Hired Truck Scandal. My concern for the ward is political gadfly Harry Osterman, a real windbag, useless as they come. Harry will be back with the same old machine politics destroying Chicago. The only bright spot is a guaranteed job for Conrad Suerth. The 48Th Ward needs a fresh face ready, willing and able to address ward problems. I am happy Mary Ann Smith is going out to graze. Bye, Bye. Patrick McDonough, the pride of Andersonville.
