Chicago's New F.B.I. Headquarters/ Sorich Trial

Chicago's New F.B.I. Headquarters.jpg
In the thick of Chicago's Corruption Beltway, stands a new building to house Chicago's Federal Bureau of Investigation. Mayor Daley, John Daley, and many politicians must wonder why the site picked is so close to Bridgeport. That might be because of the close proximity to Streets and Sanitation, Water Management, and Mobbed up Trucking Companies. It is also close to Bridgeport businesses that need a closer looking into. I heard some inside stuff that David Hoffman of the Chicago Inspector General is the real deal and would rather resign than get dirty. A promising sign. I still say call the F.B.I.'s new number at 1-312-421-6700. Ask for Public Corruption Section, they get the job done. Also Sorich trial update, today, Michael Madigan's name was brought up often. The Bureau of Electricity is called "Madigan Electric". Durkin dishing it out, careful Chicago Clout Boys. Photo by Patrick McDonough.

O'Hare Airport Contract Scams, Daley and Mob Friends

McDonough Boyle, and Brunner.jpg
Many years ago, I was working hard trying to F.O.I.A. information from the City of Chicago. Try to get information on certain contractors and contracts and the city dummies up. (good mob training). Pictured from left is Patrick McDonough, Bryan Doyle, and J. Terrence Brunner. Mr. Brunner is a tireless advocate for open, and honest government. I am happy to report we will open up this site to accomidate the Aviation Integrity Project. We are also preparing a video media section that will be called "Connecting the Dots", a multi-part video series that exposes the corruption at Chicago's O'Hare Airport. Chicago Politics, Contracts, and Chicago's interference into Suburban Politics. Attention Whistleblowers: leave a confidential message for Terry Brunner at 1-312-527-6962. Or mail: Terry Brunner, Project Director, Aviation Integrity Project, 351 West Hubbard Street, Suite 300 Chicago, Illinois 60010. I am glad I met these Chicago Crime Fighters many years ago. Mr. Brunner's clout rating: High Clout, High Class.

Department of Water Management Picnic

Chicago Intake Crib.jpg
Please enjoy my picture of a Chicago Intake Crib. Saterday, August 19, 2006, the Chicago Department of Water Management will have a Family Day Picnic. I went to prior ones with my Father Michael J. McDonough a retired Plumbing Inspector. You will need to fill out paperwork to enter the Jardine Plant, get this done A.S.A.P. Call Robby O'Conner if you have questions. I donated my services as the photographer. You must arrive at 10:00a.m. through 12:00 a.m. on that morning, do not be late. According to the Attendee Request Form "Stringent Rules will be in Place or Enforcement Action will be Necessary". Notice Cops run the Water Department now? No Booze? I will give the benefit of doubt, might be fun. Photo by Patrick McDonough.

Chicago Sun-Times Roti Clout and Hired Trucks

Chicago Sun-Times Building.jpg
Tim Novak, Robert Herguth, and Steve Warmbir took the Hired Truck Scandal and "Clout on Wheels Series" and tied in Mayor Daley and his top enforcers. Bravo. "Chicago's First Family of Clout" was some of the best investigative writing yet. As many of you know by my prior writings about China Town and Bridgeport, I am a little jealous as I was preparing the "Bridgeport Cut" series for your enjoyment. But you must remember the real money that is sliced up is McDonough and Associates a clout heavy firm that makes mega millions from Chicago Taxpayers. The minority firms and set asides would make the Roti's seem like stealing a heist of Girl Scout Cookies. It is coming soon for all you super sleuths. And the Inspector General knew nothing, p.s. do not call the I.G. until they remove the caller I.D. and auto-callback. I let you know when they are legit. Photo by Patrick McDonough.

Chicago Fire Hydrant Update

Chicago Fire Hydrant Update.jpg
My original post regarding the importance of Night Hydrant Trucks was met with some, "It will never happen". Some people said I am trying to over state a situation to my advantage. I think one of the most important safety measures necessary in the City of Chicago to avoid terrorism and have proper Emergency Management is to have our Chicago Fire Hydrants in tip-top shape. We need to stock the proper Fire Hydrant Parts for Chicago Homeland Security. We also need City of Chicago Plumbing Inspectors to review private contractors water main installations. The Fire Hydrants on Grand Avenue are fine if Chicago Fire Fighters are two foot tall. What kind of engineering companies are watching out for Chicago Residents Safety? Photo By Patrick McDonough.

Commissioner Peraica Rainbow Beach Guitar Bluesman

Commissioner Tony Peraica Rainbow Beach Chicago.jpg
Dave Madlener is someone that does not ask for a favor unless he knows something special is going to happen. Dave Madlener asked me to photograph Tony Peraica at an event on the Democratic controlled Chicago South Side. I brought my three children to a a well organized event that never stopped to entertain for hours on end. Carol Marin a great Chicago Reporter had an article in the May 21, 2006 Chicago Sun-Times. The event had a awesome array of some of the best black talent in Chicago. The Band "Sounds of the City Band" was off the hook. Can a white guy say that? Orando P. Condon smoked the strings off the bass guitar. Mack Jordan of Lush Life Inc. was on top of the party. Also Starlight Barber and Beauty Salon, Braids by Fatou, Dance Bands and Red Storm a HBO Def Poet. Shorty Bucks, Shorty-C & Loco-B were young kids that performed very well. Also Eric "Sluggo" Brown a candidate for 7th Ward Alderman. Baseball teams were present. The only thing that got me upset was the Stage, not only do you pay for the stage but you look at Daley's name. And now the million dollar question? Can Tony Peraica play the guitar? With a smokin band? Yes. I guess the Peraica campaign might stand out in the 7th ward and South Side, but it is sending a powerful message. Peraica got Clout and smarts. Walley Stevenson in the Pipe Yard Chicago

Walley in the Pipe Yard.jpg
I caught Walley Stevenson in the City of Chicago Department of Water Management Pipe Yard. The Yard is located behind the Cook County Department of Corrections Section 11. Walley is also a Rosemont Police Officer and is trained to know the law. Walley has always been treated very well by the Water Department. Walley is on the City of Chicago Fast Response team, a no bid position. You mean you are not assigned by seniority and this is a Union Local 130 covered position? Was this position posted? Inquiring minds want to know. Photo by Patrick McDonough.

Archie High Water Department Laborer

Archie High.jpg
One of the first friends I made, is a very warm and kind laborer in the Central District, his name is Archie High. Many times I overheard Archie in conversations about Jesus Christ. Archie's knowledge of the Bible is really amazing. Archie started with the Chicago Water Department in 1975. Archie has applied for over one dozen promotions. A little bird told me Archie is getting married soon. Good luck and thanks for all the contributions Mr High makes improving the moral at the Chicago Water Department. Photo by Patrick McDonough.

Thank you Chicago Media Press Conference

Michael Flannery.jpg
I am very grateful to Michael Flannery for his time on May 16, 2006 as I am to all Chicago Media that walk a fine line of reporting. I agree, it is not fair to take sides. During the time , I have dealt with many famous Chicago Media that want to report a story. I have always been very honest as I know the Chicago Media know more about me than I do. Mr. Flannery had some questions from decades ago that were proof if you lie to Chicago Media, you will get your rear end kicked. Soon, many people will come forward to get their chance to tell their story, at the Federal Trial.
I am hoping all the objections from lawyers at the Personnel Hearing will get overruled, and we get to dish it out. Mr. Michael Flannery Clout Rating: Monster Clout. Photo by Channel 2 Chicago

Sorich, McCarthy, Slattery, and Sullivan May 16, 2006

Dirksen Building.jpg
I went to the trial this morning, I was really sickened by what I saw. Prior to the whole thing starting, I saw Sorich's father and mother. I could see the pain they were in. The look on his father would send chills up a convicts back. Sorich looked like a fish out of water. Who is paying for all the legal bills? Slattery's lawyer did the best he could, but he did not explain how Patrick became an electrician, than a Director of Streets and Sanitation. The joke is Durkin is really mad at John Kass because Kass takes attention away from him. Kass was nice to me in the early a.m. I will tell you, many a person of political power and arrogance was in attendance, talking on the cell phones, ect. Hey people notice 11th ward, you do not. Mayor Daley's Scab Banner Companies

banners.jpg
May 15, 2006, Today I was rather disgusted by watching some young kid jumping around with a van and "Cherry Picker" race from light pole to light pole. With-in inches, the Chicago Banners are hung near high voltage electric and city lighting lines. Up and down the young man worked and than raced to the next pole with no help, no safety, no watchman, no driver. All by himself. He was on Columbus Drive by the Garden in the City Exhibits at Butler Field. I called the company that has done over half a million dollars worth of city business and found out, Bannerville USA is a non-union company. Hey Unions keep feeding Daley money!! Street and Sanitation workers rejoice!!! Scabs doing City Workers Jobs. P.S. If you were fired for residency, tell your lawyer the company is based in... Western Springs, Illinois. Chicago Taxpayers pay to have him drive from the far west suburbs.

Mayor Daley Patrick McDonough in China

Patrick McDonough in China.jpg
Mayor Daley went to China to avoid the stress of political corruption, waste, and fraud. I am sure Daley could learn some new techniques of controlling the press and individual freedoms the Chinese government is known for. "I think people can learn from the Chinese Government about some crowd control if the U.S. Attorney tries to arrest Daley", said a political insider that wants to remain unnamed. Patrick McDonough a future 48th Ward candidate for Alderman said, "I am following Daley to China (Town) to learn about how some Chinese are up-rising against the Brutal dictatorship like we have in Chicago." I sailed from Andersonville down to this location", said an exhausted Patrick McDonough. A.K.A. Captpaddy or "Deep Water". Photo by Chinese Communist Mr. Wong.

Jesus Navarro still in hospital Mothers Day 2006

Jesus Navarro's Mother's Day May 14, 2006.jpg
May 14, 2006. Jesus Navarro a Chicago Department of Water Management Hero and Whistleblower is at Resurrection Medical Center still recovering from a cave-in that had no shoring. Jesus is assisted by Michelle a CNA. Jesus is now in room 2-575. Jesus a devote Roman Catholic was ordered by the City of Chicago's health insurance company to under go physical therapy despite Sunday a day of rest for christens. Pictures were taken of Jesus right leg and knee grotesquely swollen from the therapy. Jesus used an ice-bag to control the inflamed knee. Jesus is very lonely and has not been visited by any Water Department Brass. Photo by Patrick McDonough

Dr. Robert D. Peck

Dr.Peck 2.jpg
In Park Ridge, one of the best known Chiropractic Physician's for Chicago City Workers is Dr. Robert D. Peck. If you are injured on the job and you want to get well as soon as possible, call Dr. Peck. I saw Dr. Peck again after seeing a Mercy work specialist. I was given a very dangerous psychotropic drug after telling the Mercy Work doctor, "I have a prescription that is not mood altering, and I do not want any "Anti-anxiety medication". The Mercy Work referral was to Jeffery Kramer M.D.S.C. a neurology specialist that prescribed Amitriptyline "Elavil". This stuff is as dangerous as Paxil. My doctor wanted me to take "Ramelteon". Mercy Works is acting like a treating doctor to Chicago City Workers, that to me is fraud. Contact Doctor Robert D. Peck at 1-847-696-0040. I was never told my M.D. prescription was altered. Response to Newsletter

Chicago Department of Water Management launched a Newsletter to respond to the real insider reporting of Patrick McDonough and Frank Coconate. In the propaganda newsletter, we read about some admitted minor problem, and Dennis M. Kelleher who was forced out of office. He "starting his own business", and I am sure to see him at the table taking money from the trough. Murphy should address why some are favored in the overtime allotment. His stand on privatization. I hope the Newsletter explains management view towards the workers. As expected this newsletter will be about what the chosen few are doing. "The Insiders". My Newsletter for the day. A driver went to the "New and Improved" Inspector General today to explain an occurrence that happened months ago. When he told them about a crime months ago the I.G. informed Water Management and the case went dry. Today he demanded to know what happened and how the I.G. was covering up the acts. He wanted to know why he was called a liar. Noted when the Chicago Investigator General investigates criminal activities they do not have a court reporter. (Cover-up) But if they are investigating life of death issues like Chicago Residency Rules, it is a major investigation with the Commissioner of I.G., two deputy commissioners and a court reporter. He is placing a lawsuit against Chicago and the story has been followed by Laurie Cohen and Todd Lighty of the Chicago Tribune for months. Story two, Chicago also purchased more Trench-boxes from a suburban company for $187,511.68. This is an emergency purchase with no bid. The company is located in Crystal Lake, Illinois. (Lee Jensen Sales). Any crew with no pipe, tools, or material, now you know why. And I could not get $6.00 for plumbing parts. Sad but true. Lets get the story out to local suppliers to contact Water Management about doing business. Patrick McDonough.

Department of Water Management Semi Trailers

Water Department Semi Trailers 23 and Ashland.jpg
Progress takes time. On March 10, 2006, after being informed of some semi-truck shipments to Central District, I am happy to inform some important progress. I will review the purchase (Leasing) arrangements at a later date. I think this is sending a signal that investment into making things "Right" is moving along. Some talk is already starting into who will drive the semis. Remember this is a pride thing and many drivers have "A" licences and consider it a honor to drive the big rigs. The "Hired Truck Scandal" and "Clout on Wheels Series", has opened a can of worms, but the Ship seems to be making a wide turn in the better direction.

Chicago Shoring Safety Upgrades May 10, 2006

Trench Safety Cropped.jpg
The Central District Department of Water Management, City of Chicago, and Chicago Safety Department started what is hopefully the first of a series of classes on Shoring Safety. The Shoring chosen by Chicago Water and Sewer Departments is a "PRO-TEC" Trench Shield. The ModSeries. Great start to avoid accidents and expensive lawsuits against Chicago Taxpayers. It was met with some moaning and groaning but was accepted after workers saw it was not to difficult to assemble. Mr. James LoVerde (A greatly respected Superintendent) said he wants to keep the system assembled and than dropped into the excavation to save time. (Brilliant) I am only concerned with assembly due to pinching hazards, I suggest leather gloves. In Chicago tradition, some parts turned up missing and the Adjustable spreaders would not work. However, it is a move in the right direction, and even though the company has no distribution stores in Chicago, this is a winner. I also suggest painting ugly colors to avoid theft in after market. Photo by Patrick McDonough. (Note the I.G. did not take my camera).

Jesus Navarro Whistleblower Injured Again

Jesus Naverro May 9, 2006.jpg
On May 9, 2006, Jesus Navarro a whistleblower in safety, harassment and racism in the Chicago Department of Water Management, suffered major trauma in a cave-in. Jesus is in Resurrection Medial Center with major hip surgery. Please send a card to Mr. Navarro at 7435 West Talcott. Again, there was no shoring in the ditch. Mr. Navarro will be out of work for a long time, he has a wife and children. He went into the ditch to avoid any more retaliation. Chicago Central District will have shoring classes Wednesday May 10, 2006. Please say prayers for Mr. Navarro, he will not have a check coming in for about two months. Note: Chicago Doctors said the best course of treatment would be to take pills, thank god Jesus checked with his own doctors. Photo by Patrick McDonough.

Rossi Contractors Northlake Illinois

Rossi Contractors Northlake.jpg
After a Safety Department meeting and seeing John D'Amico enter the Jardine Water Plant in Chicago, I saw a contractor I have researched parked out in front. One contract of this suburban company with Chicago stated the base contract is $50,000.00 up to $5,000,000.00, and not to exceed $20,000,000.00. Mayor Daley signs these contracts all the time. The real good contracts will be posted soon. And the alderman want a raise?

Frank Coconate's Kangaroo Court

Coconate's Kangaroo Court.jpg
Frank Coconate's Hearing with the Chicago Department of Human Resources is almost at a standstill. It started in May of 2006 and will restart in the last week of July 2005. Jumpy the Kangaroo was there to explain to Mr. Coconate, " If the fix ain't in, you will go to Circuit Court". Mayor Daley's staff would not return calls. I asked how much this is costing taxpayers with a chicago commissioner (Murphy) in two days of testimony instead of cleaning out corruption? Chicago Department of Water Management should use resources better. Photo by the Chicago Mob.

Victor Crown, Miriam Santos, Chicago Board of Ethics

Victor Crown At Chicago Board of Ethics.jpg
On May 5, 2006, I was with Victor Crown as he picked up another batch of court ordered exculpatory evidence material affecting the Miriam Santos Case. We were at the Chicago Board (Bored) of Ethics building in Chicago. Why is Victor Crown so happy? I know Victor is the one person in the City of Chicago that can squeeze evidence from a rock. Victor Crown is assisting me in my case. Victor Crown is a friend of mine. I will give him a clout rating after he is done in Federal Court. Photo by Patrick McDonough

Frank Avila Lada Santodomingo Telemundo

Frank Avila on Telemundo.jpg
On May 4, 2006, after a long day in court, an exahsted Frank Avila had an interview with Telemundo. Lada Santodomingo wanted to know about the election results and what Frank Avila had in mind to correct the Ballot mess in Chicago. Frank Avila speaks fluent Spanish and is a great help to Chicago City Workers that have less than perfect language skills. (Frank Avila speaks many languages). Lada has much Clout in the Chicago Spanish Community. Lada Clout Rating: Yes, Got Clout. Photo by Patrick McDonough

Chicago Frank Coconate Hearing May 4, 2006

Frank Coconate, Terrence Brunner, and Frank Avila.jpg
Pictured is Frank Coconate, J. Terrence Brunner, and Frank Avila. Today was a long day for Chicago Department of Water Management Commissioner Brian Murphy. As I sum up the testimony, I attempt to take into account what is in the Chicago Taxpayer best interest. After reviewing the last two days testimony of Brian Murphy, I cannot see how this made the Department any better. I think this hearing just brought more attention to it, and provided more liability to the Chicago Taxpayer. This hearing is dragging on for months and months, which is not good for anyone. The two Chicago Lawyers (Kerry Jewell and Lee Ferron) were drinking bottled water and gave bottled water to Brian Murphy. Murphy's assistant was in back with me drinking bottled Crystal Geyser. Dasani and Crystal Geyser were chosen. Patrick McDonough was drinking good old Chicago Tap Water as I did not want to get fired like a Miller truck driver drinking a budweiser!!! Alderman Burke and Frank Avila

Alderman Burke.jpg
At a fund raiser, Frank Avila and Alderman Burke were two magnets. Burke has done well with his wife's promotion to a high ranking judge position. Fran Spielman (Chicago Sun-Times) wrote a story on May 3, 2006 that was really fair. I will say on the record, Burke is the best dressed man in Chicago. Alderman, please, how much money do you need? I am against double dipping. Alderman Burke: Clout and lots of it. Photo by Patrick McDonough

Chicago Residency Double Standard and Contact Deals

Chicago Department of Water Management Vendors.jpg
Patrick McDonough was fired on April 1, 2005 for Alleged Chicago Residency Violations. While searching for a job, Patrick scoured the internet to get a handle on the real Chicago Water Department Scandals. The Chicago Sun-Time's "Clout on Wheels" series showed quite a few hired truck contractors did not reside inside the Chicago city limits. The Chicago residency rules are to keep money and white workers in the city. Are Chicago vendors exempt from this rule but use phony addresses to appear in compliance? This picture is of a Non-union company. Chicago Transmission companies are getting screwed. The company pictured is Suburban Transmission, 1500 Rand Road Des Plaines, Illinois 60016. I have many pictures of Chicago Revenue, Streets and Sanitation, sewer and Aviation trucks at this company located in the suburbs. James Fato (part owner) base contract is $18,270.00, he has been paid $271,092.56. Chicago Taxpayers and Transmission Companies get shafted. Go to Left Center Left for Residency Rules. We want union companies in Chicago doing city work. Photo by Patrick McDonough.

Chicago Portable Concrete Mixers The Bridgeport Cut #1

Chicago Mobile Concrete Mixers.jpg
Welcome to "The Bridgeport Cut". The Bridgeport Cut is the way contracts are done in Chicago to assure Mayor Daley and John Daley's Home Turf gets a piece of the pie. I will have many stories about Bridgeport and the way things are done to keep Bridgeport businesses, politicians, and families a step ahead. I am not saying fraud is involved. Many contractors are asked to bid on projects, services, and supplies in Chicago. Vendors are asked to supply bids through certain vendors instead of dealing directly with the City of Chicago. This does not save taxpayers any money, it costs millions more every year. The mobile cement mixers were added through Standard Truck Center, the base bid is at least double. Bridgeport's Standard Truck does millions of dollars in open ended contracts. I am for the mixers and the jobs they provide, but at what cost? Photo by Patrick McDonough
