More Chicago Inspectors Indicted Again

Two more city inspectors were charged in an ongoing investigation into corruption in the city's Buildings Department.
To date, 10 city inspectors have been charged in various corruption cases on state and federal levels.
Federal indictments announced Friday charged two additional city inspectors, including plumbing inspector Eric Reyes, who is accused of lying to federal authorities about whether he asked another person to create a phony letter of intent. Letters of intent are supposed to ensure that a listed contractor is properly licensed.
Building inspector David Johnson was also charged with conspiring with a contractor and another unnamed individual to take bribes in return for fixing building permits or code problems.
The unnamed co-conspirator in Johnson's indictment was a supervising building inspector.
The fact that the person was named as a co-conspirator but not charged could be a sign the probe continues to expand.

Funny how all this is coming down just in time to screw up the Democrat's, ie. Obama's, shot at the white house, but way too late to keep little king Richie from getting reelected.

Makes you wonder if Daley isn't really a Republican, or at least a Benedict Arnold, out of sight of the public.

what about tom talley, and the likes? what are they going to do when the top spot at central district is vacated? maybe you can finally get the promotion you have been waiting for. any suggestions? any front runners? the ducks are all in line for cavenagh. please do what you can to stop this from happening.talk about a yes man. he lies so much he doesnt even know the difference. how did john king get 4 promotions in 5 years? he was answering calls at the now infamous leak desk 5 years ago. now hes a fucking superintendent? this is the same guy who asked me on his first day on a cut and seal if he should turn the corp off or cut the lead first. maybe if it were called a seal and cut it would have given him a hint.

why has the central district pipe yard been left in the incapable hands of a acting up laborer for 3 years? what happened to the 90 day rule? also union rule states that a plumber must be on sight when a truck is being loaded with pipe.

a machinist from 39th has been suspended for 15 days for having playboy magazines in his locked desk in a locked office in his locked shop. all these locks were opened while he was on vacation. who opened these locks? you guessed it doug widell. how did he know where to look? how did he know they were in the desk? you guessed it again. he has gone down and read them several times. why wasnt the machinists supervisor suspended? you got it again, his supers name.
