Mayor Daley must have picked up some good tips from the Chinese on how to privatize. This is a non-for-profit Chicago Christian Industrial League getting ready to replace Chicago Street and Sanitation workers. Richard J. Daley would never allow this but just like the Bush family the kids are never as smart as the old man. I heard through the grapevine that Alderman in Chicago are starting to see the results of failing to do their job. Chicago has fifty Aldermen that have failed to protect the working class of this city. Watch them do nothing as Chicago families continue to lose homes, while the rich continue to enjoy the good life. I hope many of you that have forgotten my predictions in the past, get ready to take non-union low paying jobs soon. Can we wait for the Chicago Olympics 2016 as Mayor Daley waves to us from his perch high above as we perform for free to entertain the billionaires of the world? Did you notice during the Olympic broadcast the host brought up Chicago several times for hosting the Olympics? How much did that cost? If Daley and Ryan can have that kind of influence, you must be impressed. (money) Just think if these Chicago leaders put forth that effort to fix the roads and infrastructure. This is true. Look at Clean Slate, Back of the Yards Business Association, Logan Square, Development North 1559 W. Howard, they are taking over and wiping out Hand Laborers at Streets and Sanitation and those 60 percent hand laborers could soon get the ax.
Their union 1001 has said they filed a grievance of Clean Slate, but how long would that take, those hand laborers supervisor Chojnowski is retiring and that program is soon to dissolve. Ok, now who will do the mayor special's when Daley goes to press conferences?
The streets have to be clean, the mayor doesn't want to see trash on the streets.
If you vote for Obama, watch you will see more on this photo. Daley will be so powerful Nationally.

The Chicago Christian Industrial League is not a company. The workers that you see in the photo are trainees who have made a decision to reclaim their self sufficiency and are working in a job training program that provides great opportunities. Social entrepreneurship can assist social service agencies in accomplishing their mission without undue reliance on government social service programs. This job training program is a tremendous undertaking, and CCIL is proud to serve our residents.
(Response) I hope when your workers are picking up trash on dangerous roads you provide arrow-boards and barricades. I hope you understand you have no business working on public roads, are you paying prevailing wage? If you are training people you should train them on private property. Who arranged for you to work on public roads at the Daley Administration? Who is the point person that tells you where to send your workers. If you want to train people demand the local unions such as Journeymans' Plumbers Local 130 @ 312-421-1010 accept your trainees to learn to make a decent buck? I think your group is just taking advantage of ex-cons. Is picking up trash a trade? How much does the city pay you, and how much do you pay the men? Patrick McDonough

Is there some kind of bizarre, illogical protocol on your blog, one that other blogs don't seem to apply to their submitted comments?
