The political cartoons are creative and effective expressions of the way things are in Chicago. The Higgins piece shows the Daley vultures laughing at the citizens of Chicago for not taking the time to organize and meet with their aldermen to demand that they perform their duties in responsibly representing their citizenry. We have time for internet comments; that is good, but falls short of being effective. In fact, if you feel that your job is done after posting a comment, then people like Daley will prosper. Organize! Act!

The vultures are dividing up the parking meter money from us and our childrens children. Daley better finally be gone and in disgrace!
