Chicago Department of Water Managment Sean Walsh last day

Sean Walsh final city of chicago.jpg
Today was sad for the City of Chicago as Sean Walsh walked away from the Department of Water Management. The second highest educated collage Plumber at the City packed his bags and is on to better opportunities. Sean Walsh served his country during the recent war in Iraq. The Chicago Plumbers Union has a picture of that in their bookcases. Sean Walsh was a hard worker and brought a work ethic needed at the Department of Water Management.

I enjoyed working for Sean and found him to know what needed to be done. Sean acted with confidence and made good decisions. Sean will be a major loss to the City of Chicago. I contacted the Mayor’s office and Rahm said he will investigate it. Just about one year ago, several Department of Water Management employees working at the Jardine Plant told me Sean was the most qualified person for the Superintendent position and the Commissioner refused to interview Sean. Rahm Emanuel promised at the Shakman release hearings to have honest promotions. Chicago will never learn to do thing the right way and continue to promote friends the Mayor wants to reward for politics. Keep paying those sky-high water bills Chicago, it will be worse soon.

Special thanks again to Sean Walsh for his hard work and dedication to the Department of Water Management. You will be missed. Best of luck in your new career. Remove Rahm Emanuel from office and we will keep good employees.

Garry McCarthy for Mayor at the Chicago Irish Heritage Center today

Garry McCarthy for Mayor of Chicago.JPG I was happy to see Mayoral Candidate Garry McCarthy at the Chicago Irish American Heritage Center today. Garry and his wife were very down to earth and pleasant to talk to. Last time I saw Superintendent Garry McCarthy is when he was running around the Chicago Personnel Board with lots of assistants in a great rush. Joe Ferguson was sitting in the reception area by himself.
This is not the same Garry McCarthy. Garry was relaxed and fully in the driver’s seat. He was warm and surrounded by very loyal supporters. Many Chicago City workers were in attendance as was the media. I talked to a couple of the lunk heads starting B.S. outside and they were laughing because Rahm also paid them to make a scene. Would you act stupid and harass women for an extra $100.00? They quickly left when no one paid them any attention.
Again, this was a smashing success for Garry McCarthy and his supporters. Garry, I wish you and your wonderful family the very best. I was treated like a king and all in attendance were able to talk to Garry and get answers to their concerns. Well, that is a change of pace in Chicago Politics!! Let the party begin!!

Kristin Barnette McCarthy, Garry McCarthy’s secret weapon

Kristin Barnette McCarthy ChicagoClout.jpg Garry McCarthy has a secret weapon against Mayor Rahm Emanuel. Kristin Barnette McCarthy. You can not run for mayor in Chicago unless you have a wonderful, brilliant, successful lady to make you stand out. Chicago’s next mayor is going to be Garry McCarthy. Kristin has a very wonderful personality and really made me feel important. She has been a great supporter to Garry McCarthy when times were tough. Being the wife of a famous Superintendent of Police is no easy task. That job means taking the pressure cooker to an all new level. Tonight, I went to the Garry McCarthy for Mayor fundraiser and found a great diversity in the crowd. I was expecting a bunch of clean cut off duty cops. Blacks, Hispanics, tons of Irish, and many Union members from the trades. Rahm might need Alderman Burke to double his effort shaking down City Contractors for money on Monday. Game on!!! Thank you, Kristin. God Speed.
