September 17, 2012, a DOWM employee alleged more thefts occurred on his truck. Today the department was looking for someone to take the blame for the continuing thefts. Seems some guys cannot take any blame for anything. That is how you move up the ladder. Cowards. I have a solution, but that would make it hard for the guys with addictions. Time the Office of the Inspector General to do their job. I do not know how many times the Commissioner will allow this to continue. While on vacation, all my city tools were cleaned out, again. A police report was made. Nothing done, again. We need General Superintendent John King to return.

What did Anthony "Tony" Laurino know about Mayor Daley's Hired Truck Scandal
Many people never will know all the people involved in the Hired Truck Scandal. Not every participant was interviewed by the Feds. Alexander Vroustouris, the Inspector General seemed to look over many of the facts and participants. Will the public ever know the extent of the criminal activity? When the Feds took over the investigation every indication led us to believe Anthony “Tony” Laurino, John Rottman, Michael Tierney, and John D’Amico never disclosed everything they knew. We have a TV show with witnesses putting Hired Truck Business run out of Alderman Margaret Laurino’s political office. Some of the Hired Truck participants died after the Scandal broke by the Chicago Sun-Times. It gives one pause as Christopher Kelly shows up a stiff before his additional court dates arrive. Anthony Laurino retired from the City of Chicago (now called Department of Water Management) after a buyout was formulated by the State of Illinois. In all fairness, not just Tony, a bunch of guys located closely to Hired Trucks. Anthony works for Koenig & Strey in Glenview, he reported to me the massive pension is offset by additional 600 dollars a retiree must pay towards the health insurance deductible. I remember when I was fired for alleged residency violations by the City of Chicago, Tony mailed me his Real Estate card; he is such a wise guy. When it comes to legal firepower, that man has Clout. Good news from former Chicago Inspector General David Hoffman
I hope all the city workers during this difficult time can reach into their pocket and support David Hoffman in his bid for U.S. Senate. Please click here and help, http://www.hoffmanforillinois.com/ I met David Hoffman when three city workers spoke in front of the Federal judge regarding our mistrust of Chicago to implement fair hiring. It was Bruce Randazzo, Frank Anton, and I that told the judge the city is not to be trusted. I also asked the Federal Judge if the City of Chicago would provide the Office of the Inspector General with additional funding. David Hoffman enjoyed that request. I am going to make a contribution to David Hoffman and I hope everyone can dig in and help. Let’s reward people that respect the taxpayers. My bone to pick with the Office of the Inspector General is the taking of furlough days; I want a complete independent Inspector General in Chicago. Crime takes no day off in Chicago, neither should the Inspector General. Chicago Clout has some unfinished business with the I.G.; I hope these concerns are still a priority. Good luck, Mr. Hoffman.
