Illinois State Rep. Luis Arroyo needs Chicago Water Department Help

State Rep Luis Arroyo.jpg One of the better State Representatives in Illinois is from the 33rd District, Luis Arroyo. Rep. Arroyo is very calm and unflappable. He has a good sense of humor and is currently working on his new offices. Yes, he has permits, thanks! Luis needed the water shut off and called his friends at the Department of Water Management. Patrick McDonough and Ronald Bober responded and made sure a leak crew would come to the rescue later that night. Rep. Arroyo did not ask for any extra special favors from the department. He asked me about his son, who is doing a great job with the teamsters at the Water Department. I told him his son works very hard and is a good example for fellow employees. We also talked about some employees that are “rough around the edges”. Luis Arroyo is doing a good job for the community and enjoyed his picture with Ronald Bober, a hard working member of Laborer’s Union. When great public servants want the Water Department’s best employees, they call for Truck 1308. Thank for the words of wisdom Rep. Luis Arroyo!!! Photo by Patrick McDonough

Michael "Shipping Boy" Tierney looking for more at Local 130?

Michael Tierney 4.jpg Mike “Packing Boy” Tierney has made himself almost inseparable at the Plumber’s Union and is tagging along with Tim Coyne, a candidate for Business Manager. I was just told Mike Tierney was following along like a lost puppy, trying to be helpful to Coyne. I do not understand why, but let’s look at possible motivations. After a complete failure at the City of Chicago, Mike Tierney was last at the O’Hare Airport. One might ask, after one investigation after another, Mike would just skip town. Mike Tierney moved up the ladder thanks to lots of packing. He started as a ditchdigger and a mailroom boy, but became a ranking supervisor at the City. Somewhere along the line, Mike obtained a Plumber’s License. He never spent a day as an Apprentice. Mike Tierney said under sworn oath that Caulkers are better than Plumbers. Mike was a Caulker. Mike made it through many scams at the Water Department directly under his thumb. Bribes for overtime, a heroin ring, Hired truck scandal, and a notebook computer confiscated by the OIG. Mike was part of tens of thousands of dollars accepted by people wanting to become judges in Chicago. It is one hell of a racket. Mike is part of a developing scandal illegally issuing Plumbing Licenses to his 36th ward pals. It is truly amazing how many times Mike walks away from lawsuits and major scams right under his nose. It does pay to know judges. After a full City pension under his belt and an easy Airport job, Mike is packing away to get a do nothing Union job. Mike likes wearing Union garb like he knows plumbing. Tim Coyne should learn the old adage his pal, James Sullivan will soon learn, sleep with dogs and wake up with fleas. How many pensions does Mike need and why? Why is he putting on the old “I am really concerned eyes”? I hope he stops ratting out his employees to cover his own azz. I hope he quits his scams and leaves a job to real honest to goodness plumber that knows the trade; guys that can do the plumbing in their own house. Watch this story unfold folks, it will be a whopper.

U.S. Congressman Danny Davis and Plumber's Local 130 Integrity Team

Chicago Danny Davis Picture Final with Plumber's Local 130 The Integrity team consists of three Plumber’s Local 130 candidates that want to be your next officers. What is Integrity? 1. Adherence to moral and ethical principles; soundness of moral character; honesty.
2. the state of being whole, entire, or undiminished: to preserve the integrity of the empire.
3. a sound, unimpaired, or perfect condition: the integrity of a ship’s hull.
4. Something the current Business Manager of Local 130 does not understand.
Many members of Journeyman Plumber’s Local 130 need a credible team to fix the current of cloudy water that has set record levels of un-employment at the Union. Time to put membership back to work at any cost. Explosive revelations have undermined the future of Plumber’s Local 130. I hope you enjoy this picture of John Swietczak, Michael McGann, and Michael Schmidt with Rep. Danny Davis. Additional meetings with Governor Quinn, Rahm Emanuel, Chicago Alderman, and black leadership continue for the next few weeks. Many leaders in State, Local, and municipal government are very interested in what is being brought to the table. Photo by Patrick McDonough. P.S. Gavin of the Plumber’s Union was again invited to debate the issues live at CAN-TV in Chicago in ten days. See ya there.

The Occupy Chicago and NATO/G8 Video Series on Chicago Clout

Chicago Clout assisted Andy Thayer to produce a series of videos so the general public understands why the City of Chicago will have a large showing May 19, 2012 at the Daley Center. Expect a 12:00 PM kick-off and a permitted march to McCormick Place. It is very important the taxpayers and the public understand why many people oppose NATO and want these leaders to understand there are dissenting opinions. Andy invited Eric Ruder and Rick Rozoff to guest on the first show. For more information make sure you visit Chicago Clout and http://cang8.wordpress.com/ Andy also had a show on Defending Civil Liberties in Chicago, and Opposing G8 in Chicago, they will be on YouTube very soon. Andy Thayer was on the Front Page of the Chicago Sun-Times January 17, 2012. I have known and benefited from my friendship with Andy Thayer for over six years. 2nd Ward Alderman Robert Fioretti and Super Bowl Champion Otis Wilson at Billy Goat today

Alderman Fioretti Otis Wilson Chicago Clout Many folks in Chicago will never forget the Super Bowl Champions Chicago Bears. It was a special moment in Chicago history. Today I took a picture of 2nd Ward Alderman Robert Fioretti and Football legend Otis Wilson. I raced to The Billy Goat Tavern and Grill at 1535 West Madison Street from work. I also met many democratic political stars. I will have more on this later. Make sure you support Alderman Bob Fioretti, I will make the endorsements since the Chicago Sun-Times got out of that side of the business. Otis Wilson still looks like a stick of dynamite!! Chicago Department of Water Security Breach McDonough Hero

Mega Bust January 23, 2012 Yard final.jpg City of Chicago Department of Water Management employee of 2011 Patrick McDonough noticed a very suspicious pick-up truck lurking around the 4900 West Sunnyside Yard today. Mr. McDonough notified the crack security team that left the gate open again and allowed this dude to sneak into the yard. The crack security team made a major assault upon the possible terrorism suspect. A high ranking political appointee snuck up quietly on this dude as if he was on a turkey hunt, and the dude left the open lot without so much as any license check, or illegal search and seizure. The crack security team did not follow the established protocol which is necessary to save our precious drinking water in Chicagoland. Who was that dude? Why he was not detained? Is Chicago drinking water safe? Why did this political appointee not call in a reckless panic to superiors? Photo by Patrick McDonough

Tommie Talley back getting taxpayer's loot for nothing?

Tommie Talley Pension.jpg Municipal Employees’ Annuity and Benefit Fund of Chicago at 321 North Clark Street, Suite 700 Chicago, Illinois 60654 welcomed Tommie Talley today. Tommie was removed after a disgraceful employment at the City of Chicago Department of Water Management. Must have been Tommie ordering City Workers to make free repairs at the Daley’s 11Th Ward Church that sealed the deal. Tommie then marched over to the County until Dane Placko busted him on Fox News Chicago. Tommie had some serious clout for a long time. I do not think criminal activity should allow folks to collect a pension and Tommie Talley is much too young to collect money for nothing. My inside guy told me Tommie was going to buy a Subway Franchise and make a go of that years back, guess that failed also. I know when Tommie Talley sent a worker to the Central District for retaliation; he did not look over his back for payback. I am against Tommie Talley taking any kind of money from the taxpayers after his lousy work at the Water Department. We need some real detective work to find out what is going on. The scoop was given to Chicago Clout January, 18, 2012 by one of our detectives. Chicago Clout is everywhere, we are after you next, “snicker”. Maybe Tommie can stop by Dean Slawek’s attempt to sneak back into the city with his highbrow gun lawyer. The scam starts on February 10, 2012. Watches out all you unemployed Chicago Plumbers, go to City Hall 11Th Floor 10:00 AM. See if the James Sullivan sells out the Plumbing License Law for a doorbell ringer. NO MORE SCAMS CITY HALL. Where the heck are the FEDS?

Chicago Clout Awards Mark Holder Employee of the Year

One of the most important long term accomplishments at the City of Chicago Department of Water Management is the safety of the workers. When I first started blowing the whistle on the lack of jobsite safety, the department refused to make the legally required shoring requirements. Chicago Clout made an entry on shoring October 30, 2007. At that time I was happy some progress was made. I was also very upset because the Office of the Inspector General refused to get involved. What greater savings than reducing workman's compensation claims by using common sense? If the Office of the Inspector General sends out their Investigators and make sure there is compliance, the scofflaws will fall into line. The old mentality of, "We will get more work done, and shoring slows down the job" is a myth. I was very happy to know the December 13, 2011 Jardine Safety Plant Shoring meeting was also attended by Irene Caminer, the Director of Legal Services with the Department of Water Management. Many at the meeting talked up about their concerns and also want a safer work environment. It is good to have senior management take safety serious. I again want to congratulate Mark Holder as Chicago Clout's City of Chicago Employee of the Year (2011) for taking a rag tag political safety department and making it a department taxpayers can be proud of. An honorable mention goes to Alice Carter in the same Department that said, "We can't take chances anymore". Put this on the record, Chicago Water Department Employees were given a phone number that records the call, use it. If you are working with a boss that refuses to use shoring, that boss will get ten days off, The Superintendent will get ten days off, (except those politically connected), and the person caught in the unprotected ditch. Fran Spielman of the Chicago Sun-Times and I should also get an award for pushing worker safety, but that will not happen. Again, job well done Mark Holder, you have greatly improved the taxpayer's interest. It is no surprise Local 130 never did a single thing to help it's members get safety improvements.
