Time to hype Rahm "residence violation" Emanuel Mayoral Bid

The Chicago press is back at the old "pick the contenders for mayor" game. The Chicago press is attempting to sell more newspapers by creating the mythical super hero Rahm. It worked for the Obama sell job, but Oprah learned a lesson to stay out of politics. The problem with creating a super hero Rahm might backfire. I am not sure of the results despite talking to many people. Many Chicago residents do not even know this guy, but I suspect the media might want the guy that sells the most newspapers. I am sure Fran Spielman of the Chicago Sun-Times would have a continuous amount of things to write about with Rahm stinking up Chicago. Chicago does not need another Daley now. To continue the corruption machine would doom Chicago. The press does not cover all the contractors working everywhere in Chicago. Minority companies are ready to take over many functions now completed by city workers. These no-bid companies are not properly supervised. When the time is better, I will bust out these goons. I understand Daley's management team attempting to grab what they can before they are out of work. Things are out of control in Chicago. Protections to safeguard the taxpayer's money are inadequate. I am happy to report Chicago Clout is back in the studio to present more candidates. I have a studio set up and can produce videos anytime I want. I was thinking of the name "Andersonville Productions", or "Clout Video". I am not sure yet. I hope Chicago City Workers use their heads and find a mayoral candidate that will help their cause. Some city workers are losing their house to foreclosure, but the union dues are not dropping. Go figure. Patrick McDonough

Mayor Daley made another bad deal for Chicago taxpayers. Factories gone, Walmart in.

dennis gannon Walmart Day Chicago Clout.jpg Another losing day for Chicago unions. Walmart brought the buses right onto the north side of Chicago City Hall. They loaded and rested between the James Thompson Building and the Daley City Hall. Mayor Daley rolled out the carpet after the Walmart meeting the FBI missed and the deal was cut. I saw Dennis Gannon today after the deal was agreed and for the second time in a while, Dennis looked very drawn. Daley had his armed goons parked on LaSalle and the deal was done. I have been very tough on Dennis Gannon for quite some time, but I can understand when the battle takes its toll. I admit I have been very tough on Chicago labor, but they have folded and left their worker’s cupboards bare. I also saw Robert Ryan, today and again he was friendly. Robert Ryan at Chicago City Hall today spells a sellout for workers every time. Chicago labor knew for quite some time they should have retired and let the new warriors take rein. Their greed is the downfall of every working man in Chicago. It always was about them and I know Daley will get large concessions on upcoming labor contracts. “A million dollars is a lot of work” Dennis Gannon told me today. I was going to remind him the meter deal was a lot of money also. Dennis has done much for Chicago Labor, but he should have left when the getting was good. The old fools are going down with the ship. As much as I hate to admit, Daley won, China won, Chicago taxpayers lost, Union labor lost. Walmart will feast on the taxpayer money with link cards and the unemployment level will increase. With Daley it is about power, not making good deals. Photo by Patrick McDonough.

Chicago Department of Water Management Employees Stop Water Theft

theft of water from Fire Hydrant 1.jpg On October 19, 2009, Chicago Department of Water Management Workers noticed an employee from a concrete company taking water from a fire hydrant. They were on the Milwaukee Avenue street project that proves private contractor are not up to the tasks of getting work completed in a timely manner. The project which stretches from Montrose to the Jefferson park CTA terminal is the result of multiple minority contractor incompetence. Everyone on this project should not be allowed to work for the public again. A concrete contractor was caught with his saw cutting machine hooked up to a fire hydrant with no protection to the potable water supply. The man had no permit to use the water. A Chicago Police officer was dispatched and made quick work of the violations. I commend Officer Stranski for a job well done. The City of Chicago Department of Water Management needs proper training to make all employees aware of water safety. Many people think the department promotes political hacks that have little knowledge of public safety. Many Chicago Water Department employees think the only thing that matters is getting signatures for Daley and his selected political goons. I want to thank the employees that did their job and reported the violations. Many employees are afraid to report these violations as the Management in the department will retaliate. Make sure you read the following articles, Daley is selling the City of Chicago to the highest bidder. Make sure you vote everyone of these idiots out of office.
