MY NAME IS ANGELO FATA. I AM A MEMBER OF TEAMSTER LOCAL 726 AND I WOULD LIKE TO INFORM YOU OF A SITUATION THAT TOOK PLACE BETWEEN MYSELF AND RECORDING SECRETARY OF TEAMSTERS LOCAL 726 NAMED JACK HURLEY. WHILE IN THE WATER DEPARTMENT BUILDING AT 3901 SOUTH ASHLAND AVENUE AROUND 3;00PM I WAS CONFRONTED BY JACK HURLEY I WAS SITTING ON A BENCH AND TO ME THAT HE DID NOT LIKE SOMETHING THAT WAS WRITTEN IN A NEIGHBORHOOD NEWSPAPER ABOUT LOCAL 726 OFFICIALS . HE ACCUSED ME OF SAYING THINGS ABOUT HIM I DO NOT RECALL MENTIONING ANY NAMES WHEN I WAS INTERVIEWED BY THIS NEWSPAPER. HE GOT IN MY FACE AND USED VULGAR LANGUAGE HE EVEN THREATENED TO PUNCH ME WHEN OTHER WATER DEPARTMENT WORKER APPROACHED TO SEE WHAT WAS GOING ON HE WAS THROWN OUT OF THE BUILDING BY ONE OF THE FOREMAN ON DUTY .
I ASK YOU THIS WHY AM I PAYING DUES TO OFFICIAL THAT HARASS MEMBERS OF LOCAL 726 . THESE ARE THE PEOPLE WHO ARE SUPPOSED TO BE FIGHTING FOR THE HARD WORKING TEAMSTERS OF LOCAL 726 BUT YET THEY SWEAR AT US AND THREATEN TO PUNCH US . SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE TO RECTIFY THIS SITUATION. THIS TYPE OF BEHAVIOR IS ABSOLUTELY UNNECESSARY AND SHOULD NOT BE TOLERATED.. IS THIS THE TYPE OF PEOPLE WE WANT RUNNING OUR UNION. WE SHOULD NOT BE PAYING DUES TO PEOPLE WHO THREATEN US AND WANT TO CAUSE US BODILY HARM
Well, why didn’t you call the cops and get this guy arrested? He was trespassing,because he came into the lot for personnal business ( fight )so the city prohibits this,so Angelo you should of had him arrested for threatening you, plus Battery charges,and after he got arrested you could of had him disbarred from being a offical with Local 726, by calling the International Union and making a formal complaint!
Angelo why did you let him get away with this!

I want a strong guy in Local 726 If you let this guy go, will you look the other way when you need to fight? this proved to me that you are not strong enough, I wa going to vote for the whole slate, but now I am going to split my vote up with other members slates, “Peel” got my vote to replace that horroble guy T. Clair,

ANGELO DID GO TO THE POLICE STATION AND FILE A REPORT. HE WILL GO AND SEND LETTERS TO THE INTERNATIONAL ECT. HE DID THE RIGHT THING.
I Would Be Happy To See Jack Fight For Anythig. I Work For The FPD(Forest Preserve District) Of Cook County We Don’t Even Exist. I Figured I Give Jack A Fair Chance, But He’s Let Me Down Bigtime. I Feel Like I’m Out Here Solo & If Management Wasn’t So Ignorant Who Knows Where I Be Employed.
