More madness at the Chicago Department of Water Management

spy vs. spy.jpg The City of Chicago received multiple phone calls from a retired worker in the North District Water Department. Remember, if you are an employee of the City of Chicago, the ex-employee might be looking to get information to privatize or set you up in a sting. Make sure you are not doing favors for any ex-employee; make sure you report this activity to the Chicago Office of the Inspector General. Keep your job, report fraud. Do your job by the book; the old days are gone for good. Patrick McDonough

  1. Come on Pat,get real! No names given, report to the Inspector General, report fraud and so on and so on. Not to mention the ex employee getting info to privatize. You are really getting to be a joke on some of your comments Pat. Most all of the ex employees were the hardest workers in the old water department, yes everyone had clout but the work was done and clout was not mentioned in the water main and leak crews of years ago. There were too many respectable guys to set up a fellow in a sting. Nowadays, everyone stools on each other, and goes downtown with all the crap. Give me the good old days any day!! Your Dad was the same way, a good guy that had clout with the union but got the job done. Another ex employee like the rest of us.
