Chicago Clout awards another college bound student

Stephanie Georgen Chicago Clout.jpg Today was another great day for Chicago Clout. For many years Chicago Clout has awarded thousands of dollars for college bound students. Today Stephanie enjoyed a boat ride and got her brand new Sony laptop computer. The funds are awards by the Patrick McDonough Trust and Chicago Clout revenue. Stephanie will also receive additional income to smooth out the bumps for the next four years. You can recommend the son or daughter of any current City of Chicago employee or any young person in need. Next week we are having a “Special Music for Special People” fundraiser. Fire Hydrant in middle of Chicago Street. Daley's friends mess-up

Fire Hydrant in Street Chicago 1.jpg 2249 South Blue Island in Chicago is another example of Rahm Emanuel’s privatization. It is also another example of poor leadership and waste of taxpayer money. This Fire Hydrant should have been moved a long time ago. Many of the phony minority companies, Daley contractor pals do not know when to coordinate and schedule work. Now Chicago Department of Water Management will need to move this Fire Hydrant destroying brand new work causing embarrassment. A Fire Hydrant in the middle of the street, now that is really stupid. It is time for Commissioner Powers to start firing deadbeats at the Jardine Plant. Call the newspapers, this is a story. This job will always look like crap from now on. Back charges are in order. Patrick McDonough. Thanks for the pic my Southside boyz.

CBS 2 News Chicago covers City Worker assualt July 21, 2011

City Worker injured turning off hydrants CBS2News Chicago Richard Quarles, a 20 year Chicago City Worker was assaulted by neighborhood kids when he turned off a fire hydrant. Both members of the crew were pushed and shoved. The event was covered by CBS2 News staff. City residents need to report open hydrants and call police. Chicago Clout has reported Fire Hydrant issues for many years. City workers understand the kids need to stay cool, but wasting water is not cool. Photo from cbs2 Chicago website. Patrick McDonough

Chicago Department of Water Management 50 year employee Tony Fico Retires

Anthony Fico IMG-20110613-00341 final.jpg Last week Anthony Fico celebrated 50 years of service to the City of Chicago Department of Water Management. He retired. I was hoping Rahm Emanuel or the Commissioner would have celebrated the milestone. I was hoping to hear of a party, a nice goodbye. Tony also worked side by side with my father for many years, they became true friends. Fifty years of busting his ass on the Hydrant truck as his twilight neared. Tony got the short end of the stick when it came to promotions; he is a walking Shakman violation. I have never in my life seen any man work as hard as this guy. Tony Fico, on behalf of the working guys at the City of Chicago, thank you for all you have done. Tony is the best ever, period. Thank you. Photo by Patrick McDonough

Illinois State Representative Kelly Cassidy… another one trick pony

The Chicago Gay Pride Parade has some tires slashed by some 11th Ward goofballs. Almost every reporter in Chicago felt a need to defend the gay community. They were so outraged. The big quote was Kelly Cassidy just another political hack from the Andersonville and appointee because she is gay. She replaced Harry Osterman, another one trick pony that never did a mentionable thing in the state house. Both of these goofs will not debate and hide behind the Democratic Party. Both are professional victims, making a republican ransom for their services. I wish the reporters would just talk about the Gay Community's agenda and what they are trying to accomplish. I think the Gay community is a little farther along than the press gives them credit for. I just want to know how this could happen with new Mayor Rahm Emanuel? Where are the cops we were promised? Good night dudes.
