Elizabeth "Lally" Daley, who turned 28 on Thursday, married Sam Hotchkiss at Spiaggia, a restaurant on North Michigan Avenue. Former mayor Daley must have been very happy when he unloaded his very homely daughter "Lalley" Lalley is a name usually reserved for horses and cattle. I was shocked the local Chicago newspapers were not talking about her beauty. The local newspapers were quiet about her plain Jane looks, but wrote about her helping kids with autism. Lalley's husband is no catch either, Sam Hotchkiss looks like his father-in-law. Sam is almost bald and very homely. The one thing the newlyweds will never worry about is access to privilege and money. I would rather be handsome and poor, than ugly and a Daley family member. Note to Rich Daley, if you have ugly kids, do not put their pictures in the newspapers. Time for the Daley family to move on. Wow it is getting tough out there!!!
Another Cover-up for Daley's Hired Truck Royal Family. Water Department scams public!
Thursday April 27, 2011 was another great day for the Daley faithful at the City of Chicago, Department of Water Management. Thomas “Tom” Tadin enjoyed another party on the taxpayer’s dime. The morning party was described a “just a coffee” by the Commissioner’s office. I asked Tom LaPorte, the department’s spokesperson what happened on Thursday and he stated, “I have no idea what you are talking about”. These type answers calls for the termination of this joker. Will Rahm Emanuel keep folks like this on the payroll? Just a decade ago, the Jardine Plant was known as “Plato’s Retreat”. Wild City Workers enjoyed everything but an honest day’s work. Clouted City Workers usually turn in their I.D.s in the morning of their last day, turn around and go home. They just need to stick it to taxpayer’s one last time. Maybe Tom will tell us about Friday morning. On another note, insiders at the Water Department need to look closely at the picture in this story, do go too far when you retire, you will be back! Will Rahm Emanuel fire all these Level 51 party animals, or get seduced by the loose money and temptation? God only knows! NEXT TIME: post all notices of your parties, I will find out anyway! Vince, Tony, Daley maka money handa over fista for GV Construction
I was cracking up last week following up on story after story, construction site after construction site. Mayor Daley sending our money to suburban contractors is legendary. While City of Chicago employees starve and must reside in Chicago, contractors rent a space and the Office of the Inspector General seems unconcerned with compliance. I think this is because the Commissioners can overrule the OIG. Could you imagine Daley would allow the OIG investigations crimped and scuttled by politics? Could you imagine the waste of money only to find out all the taxpayer money on investigations are clouted. I spoke with the engineer on this jobsite, he lives in the suburbs. He has worked doing the exact same job as city workers for about twenty five years. The site had trucks, equipment and concrete trucks on the ready. Ozinga, who would have guessed? I passed Department of Transportation city workers and they were waiting for cement. They were standing around like knuckleheads. When Daley gets out, the Commissioners from transportation, the contractors with all the shared offices and buildings need an audit. The Office of the Inspector General needs independence. What a scam. When Daley leaves Chicago and takes all the scum buzzards with him, many more will face the Federal Hatchet. Photo by patrick McDonough
The Chicago Parking Meter Problems Continue this winter
GreekTown is a section of Chicago known for some great Greek restaurants. A couple of days ago, I went down to get some cheese that made my tummy feel great. I also met my new and famous teacher that is going to clean up some unfinished ends in my photo skills. Before I had the meeting, I had to find a spot and everything was taken except some metered areas. I was getting ready to pay when an older lady was trying to walk through the snow and feed the machine. The least Daley could do was make sure the access to the meters meet handicap access rules. People should not have to feed the meters if there is not proper accessibility for everyone. Daley made chumps of everyone when he made this deal. Photo by Patrick McDonough
