Mayor Daley's City Inspector Under Investigation

City Inspector Under Investigation
The City of Chicago's office of the inspector general is currently investigating one of its own investigators.
Chicago police say Tracy Buckley, an assistant chief investigator for Inspector General David Hoffman, was arrested over the weekend on shoplifting charges.
Officers say Buckley, who earns about $70,000 a year, was allegedly caught walking out with unpaid grocery items from a Whole Foods Market on the city's northwest side.
Hoffman has placed Buckley on administrative leave, but he says he wouldn't be surprised if it turned out that the allegations against her were a mistake.

  1. One of your own is busted. For years your Department covered up the waste and Fraud at the Chicago Inspector General. Get her help, get Tracy a Medical Doctor, but fire her. Next.
The Inspector General is quick to fire unless it one of their own. You Gone!!! Rehire all the people she committed fraud on!!!

  2. Pat, you have THREE stories about the same thing. We can ALL read this in the newspaper, try to be a bit more origional with the website instead of just rehashing stories in the newspaper!!

(Response) Why is this big? This is important.

  3. She was only trying to help feed the c .He is to broke and selfish for even his own kids to belive in him.Maybe you should show him how to be a dad and an honest guy pat!!!

  4. I HAVE PERSONALY KNOWN TRACY FOR 35 YEARS AND I CAN TELL YOU THAT THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE TOTAL MISTAKE. WE ALL KNOW THE TRUTH AND I WILL BE VERY DISAPPOINTED IT THE INSPECTOR GENERAL LETS HER GO AFTER 13 YEARS. SHE DID NOT STEAL ANYTHING THIS IS JUST A WAY TO TRY AND SLAUGHTER HER FOR WHO SHE IS.

(Response) Than put your correct name on the commenter section. The I.G. suggests everyone gets terminated for any violation. She is a Cop of Cops. She is a tough person that is trained to uphold the law. She let down the Inspector General. I never saw her Law Enforcement brothers come to the media and defend her. Where is Taggert? Fire her, let her use her pension to defend herself if she thinks her job is worth keeping. If not, rehire all employees she had a hand in terminating. But get her some help. The shoe is on the other foot.

  5. Is the I.G.’s office completely staffed by individuals hand picked by Hoffman?

Or were some to most of the staff hand picked by Hoffman’s predecessors?

If the latter, who were said predecessors and who hand picked them?

Inquiring minds would like to know.

    (Response) HDO
