Well say what you wish but the Sky High Taxes due to Mayor Daley’s Policies made Chicago and Cook County number one. This is another sad chapter in Chicago Politics. Thank you Chicagoist for this info. Make sure to visit this web site, the young kids are pretty smart http://www.chicagoist.com/ Patrick McDonough
Shakman Violation Update for Chicago City Workers Douglas Matton
On October 24, 2006, after a long day of work, I had the privilege of meeting with Douglas M. Matton. Douglas is an attorney that is been asked by multiple Chicago City Workers regarding their rights in the Shakman Decree Violations plaguing the Daley Administration. Prior to contacting any attorney, some basic things must be in proper order so you are not wasting a lawyers time and money. Organization is a must, have a copy of all paperwork, such as applications, bid forms, notes on all recollections, conversations, interviews, times, dates, anything and everything, ect… I suggest if you embark on this journey you must not look back, all you know must be put forward, selective memory is not winning attitude. I thought it was Daley and George? John Patrick Daley and John Richard Daley. Hired Truck Scandal?
Rachel Goodstein next Alderman 43rd Ward Chicago
The best choice for Alderman is in the 43rd Ward. Since the 43rd Ward is well educated, I will write accordingly. The best candidate in Chicago’s 43rd Ward is Rachel Goodstein. Period. Expect an official announcement from Rachel just after the November General Elections. Petitions are printed and circulated. Rachel is perhaps best known for being the President of the Friends of Meigs Field, when Daley illegally XXX’d the runway. This action due to the out cry of future leaders like Rachel, open the floodgates that lead to Hired Truck Scandal, and Hiring Scandals that have rocked the Daley Administration.
Her commitment to responsive open good government are the result of her first hand knowledge of the City. She is committed to put in check the scandals, squandering, and skulduggery in Chicago Politics. Photo by Patrick McDonough

Massive Fraud and Homeless Problems in Chicago
As we all know , I try to teach my children Democratic Values as they have been taught to me by my parents. Patrick McDonough was reading an article to his brother Michael in Chicago’s Lincoln Park. The article was “12 cited in home fraud”. In Chicago Mayor Daley tries to paint to the world everything is o.k. in Chicago. Since Chicago is afraid to have the needed Inspectors to protect the neediest among us, more people will end up homeless. Lincoln Park is in the 43rd Ward under the direction of Vi Daley, a Mayor Daley rubber Stamp. Time to clean that mess out of office. A while ago, many of these great residents told me they want change. I told them, “If your smart enough to live in Lincoln Park, why would you vote for Vi”? They said Bye, Bye, to Vi. Chicago Worker Safety Update Workers Compensation
One of the items I have fought for for years is Excavation Competent Person Class. This training, as I written about prior, is the needed training Chicago Safety Department Employees never provided. I am glad this training is now available. Also the training for the new laborers is a wise investment. John F. Spatz, the Department of Water Management Acting Commissioner, is getting the Department into the 21st century. This will save taxpayers millions of dollars over the long haul. Enough of Clout and Corruption in Chicago. Also thanks to Fran Spielman of the Chicago Sun-Times. Please read. http://www.suntimes.com/news/hired/31568,cst-nws-hired07.article Patrick McDonough
Mayor Daley passes blame again to Burke
Please read an excellent article by Tim Novak. http://www.suntimes.com/news/metro/105538,CST-NWS-disabled21.article I hope all of us Chicago City Workers know how the Workers Compensation is run, poorly at best. Mercy Works is an outside Health care contractor that oversees the city’s interest in Chicago Workman’s Compensation Claims. The health care provided by that company is not professional. Mercy Works is part of a hospital system that has some of the highest profile politicians involved. Dan Rostenkowski, the Daley’s, and Madigan are just some of the persons assisting the Catholic System with government Funds and contracts. If a Chicago City worker gets injured you wait months for your check, the service by the agency is rude at best. Claimants are not treated with respect, get no return calls, and never can rely on the Comp Checks arrival. This is a second injury. Clout based city workers get much better treatment and better approval times, that is a fact. Patrick McDonough.
Mayor Daley's Friends get hurt in Chicago
Please see this channel 5 intro click here: http://www.nbc5.com/news/10110253/detail.html This is going to get better. Thank you to everyone that made this happen. Please call newspapers, they are the real Chicago Investigator Generals.
Chicago's Clout Workers' Compensation Clout List
I am very happy about the another round of ammo aimed at Mayor Daley’s Administration. Please read a great article about the Clout Sick List by Tim Novak and Art Golab of the Chicago Sun-Times. click here: http://www.suntimes.com/news/metro/103096,CST-NWS-disabledex19.article This is major trouble ahead for Mayor Daley. As we investigated at my Residency Hearing, Tom Briatta, a foreman for the City of Chicago Department of Water Management stated under oath, McDonough was trouble because he wanted Shoring in the ditches. Years ago Chicago’s Water Department of Water Management refused to make the ditches safe for the employees. Also if you look at our prior posts, we revealed the treatment for guys with no clout, your sent back to work sick. The real news will be, Were all city workers treated the same, with comparable injuries? Did some workers in Chicago get light duty, or were sent back home to get better? Did supervisors tell Mercy Works to give some workers preferential treatment? Is this a conflict with the lawyers and Alderman Burke? I hope Frank Avila gets credit for bringing this to light at the McDonough vs. City of Chicago Residency Hearing. Please see a picture of me today so you understand how dangerous the job is. On the positive side, Chicago under the leadership of Commissioner John Spatz, Jr. is starting to take the steps to make the work-site safer. Since he is new, he should be afforded what ever time he needs to steer this sinking ship around.
