Fran Spielman was back on top of her game today tying in Mayor Daley’s friend and family program, Mike Tadin’s goon enterprises, and the Building Department special inspectors for the 11TH Ward. What do I mean? Tadin an 11TH Ward Goon, is entering into the house building business. If you have money to launder, this is the business the IRS is too uninformed to watchdog. Fran Spielman also put together theft of water from the Chicago Fire Hydrants. Amazing. It seems to me the pieces are almost all together in the Tadin, Daley, Water Department pimps and players. The script; if Tadin is going to build home, all the city building inspectors on the project know to find nothing wrong. This project needs to be watched by the Office of the Inspector General with a close eye. Tadin made millions with his scab trucking company; expect unions to shy away from enforcing a 100% union worksite. The part of the story Fran nailed was related to ABC 7 News special with Plumbing Inspector/ Whistleblower John Swietczak exposing the stealing of water from Fire Hydrants. Chicago Clout also demands an investigation into the way the fines were imposed by the Department of Water Management against contractors caught pilfering water from Chicago taxpayers. Michael Tucker, son of retired Plumbers’ local 130 enforcer Paul “RC” Tucker, had his plate full yesterday with an all day Building Department meeting at Chicago City hall. Michael Tucker got a nice ride up the promotion ladder, and needs his workload increased. Chicago Clout also demands a review of the websites he has visited the last few years. Chicago Department of Water Management brass has failed again enforcing rules and regulations. I say fire all the goons Daley sent from the Police Department to hush to dissention at the Water Department. City of Chicago Department of Water Management allow sales on city sites
The City of Chicago had salespeople from a TexasLife Insurance Company, based in Waco, Texas on City property yesterday and also today. MetLife has a sales center, based in Downers Grove, provide representatives to Water department locations “part of Homeland Security”. I was really surprised Investigators we not dispatched from the Office of the Inspector General to investigate. I do not think any company should have an exclusive access to any locations Chicago city workers are located. I also think sales should not be handled on city time. I was led to understand this company has had a very cozy arrangement for a long time with the Daley Administration. If I owned an insurance company, I would like to get my hands on Chicago City workers money. I would also like the fancy arrangement with this private company to have automatic payroll deductions. If you know who is getting a piece of this deal, give Chicago Clout a call. I hope the taxpayers do not mind Chicago City workers getting paid upwards of 50 dollars an hour to pick an insurance plan instead of fixing leaks and broken water mains. Mayor Daley's Lake County Construction Friends forgot to bring a permit
I could never understand how Mayor Daley and his pack of goons can allow work that should be completed by Chicago City Workers, to be farmed out to private contractors. This company said they are Joel Kennedy Construction Company. Their trucks have no lettering or have lettering with false addresses, of course that depends on the way Chicago Office of the Inspector General determine residency. None of these cases have ever been prosecuted. In fact, some former employees retired from the Chicago Water Department and went to work for privates in Lake County. These companies need to be investigated for compliance. Chicago City workers are taking furlough days at great expense to their families. Private companies from other counties take our work; enjoy lower taxes, better roads and less corruption. I think that is why Mayor Daley has a residence in Michigan. Why would Daley farm out the sewer program to these companies? When will the Inspector General investigate these companies? Many of these companies have a P.O. Box and the mail is forwarded to the suburbs. On this job the company did not have a permit. They started work with-out a permit. The boss came out with Wisconsin plates on his pickup. He said this is emergency work, like the Nativity of our Lord emergency work? I never heard of a private company allowed to start a job without a permit in a municipal environment. But this is Chicago and Daley is the most corrupt person to ever serve office, period. This is a scam, pure and simple, it leads to using privates to complete work for the Commissioners friends and Alderman’s donors on the taxpayer’s dime. We need to Feds to raid the Jardine Plant again. The Chicago Department of Water Management might have found a new Hired Truck Program. Rabine Paving fixes sidewalks as Chicago Cement finishers starve
I was speaking to Chicago Cement finishers a couple of days ago, he was a foreman with Mayor Daley’s Department of Transportation. He spoke of the many months Chicago pays their workers unemployment as private contractors make tons of money. The City guys carded the Milwaukee Avenue (Jefferson Park) project that never seems to end. I have watched Mayor Daley and his goons continue to privatize work that should be done by actual Chicago residents. I guess Mayor Daley wants to be a big man to those suburban contractors that give lavishly to his Olympic bid and campaign coffers. This group of laborers was fixing sidewalks for Chicago’s Norwood Park business district. I am amazed at how these laborers are able to drive trucks, operate backhoes, and finish cement. I looked through Mayor Daley’s website and I could not find contracts for Rabine Paving. I think these guys were in the 6100 block of Northwest Highway. The picture was taken on October 5, 2009. A thank you to Mayor Daley, for Chicago is quickly going non-union and non-skilled labor will complete the many tasks. But I do not understand why the Office of the Inspector General does not take the time to investigate these contractors. I am finding an overwhelming amount of Hispanic workers; I do not find women, blacks, or handicap workers working for the private contractors. Last week was a long week for Whistleblower John Swietczak famous for the Hired Truck Scandal and other whistleblowing activities. Chicago Clout investigators found it curious Mr. Swietczak waited until after work to be interview by Chuck Goudie and the ABC 7 news station. It is about time more City of Chicago employees stand up to the corruption, waste and fraud in Chicago. I again ask all employees watch and carefully keep notes if they see taxpayers money wasted. John Switczak is hosting a new show named “The Town Crier”. If you have a story for major Chicago TV stations, we can help you prepare your story for the likes of major corruption busters like, the Chicago Sun-Times, the Chicago Tribune, ABC 7 I-team and CBS 2 News. The main trick is to be concise and organized. The City of Chicago Plumbing Inspectors should start doing their jobs and bring in income to Chicago making notices of violations. I am currently watching several Inspectors taking long lunches downtown; I expect them to start doing their jobs. One Plumbing Inspector tripped over his panties to get the Tadin family Hydrant permit and might get himself fired. He was missing in action last week for a day. If you know Pat Kenny, please have him give me a ring, I think he signed John Khym name approving free use of water for Daley trucking pal and buddy MAT construction. Mat Construction will also need to help the City of Chicago report any Hydrants out of order. (Do you really think they will do that?) Most contractors break them and move on. Remember to call Michael Tucker, alleged son of Plumbers Local 130 bigwig, anytime to keep the City of Chicago informed of Hydrant use. I hope the Chicago Office of the Inspector General, now crippled without Hoffman, can actually investigate the fraud Chicago Taxpayers suffered due to the handshakes, pro-sport tickets, and gifts given at golf events to look the other way. We need to investigate what work was done by Michael Tucker before the Hydrant story and after. We also need to check the way these connected Plumbing Inspectors got their licenses and promotions. City of Chicago Streets and Sanitation needs Safety Review
The City of Chicago has a crime ridden Streets and Sanitation Department so bad, Mayor Daley shuffles the high ranking members like a deck of cards. One of the employees today crossed a ward boundary in the afternoon to give me some grief. Streets and Sanitation wards are run by Ward Superintendents usually under the control of the local Alderman. I think this dude is with Alderman Allen and the 38TH Ward goons. Today, he crossed Addison Avenue at about 1:00 PM and started venting about safety issues, safety vests, I think he is very upset with his job and he is upset with the world. As a whistleblower against Alderman Allen and the City of Chicago in general, I get lots of tough guys that want to lull me into a fight and torment me on the job. In the past, guys that made my life miserable were rewarded with overtime, favors, and respect when they verbally assaulted me. Many other acts of random violence occurred on a regular basis. The Street Sweeper is a job that is considered a plum assignment to get you out of the garbage truck. The garbage truck is always hot for the driver, the engine is right under you; it stinks bad, and is a dangerous job. The rumor around the Teamsters was, ring a few doorbells, kiss a little rump, and walla, you are on the Street Sweeper. I tried to find the name of this dude, but Alderman Allen’s staff was not sure, Gregory Von Moser, and his replacement was scared as a cat to talk. This Street and Sanitation Street Sweeper needs to wear a helmet on duty, wear safety glasses, wear his safety vest, wear gloves, wear his seatbelt, and keep the clear plastic deflector for branches up at all times. Mayor Daley's Pals clean-up Chicago while City Workers Starve
Most famous reporters say things like, “There he goes again”, after a session with Mayor Daley. A Chicago press conference with Daley is a test in one’s ability not to swear at his corny answers. This picture depicts another contractor putting a patch on a wound. A method of sealing basins is to “line” them. A thin spray coat is put over the bricks and then they look pretty. This is not a proper structural repair. The type of brick Chicago Department of Water Management has used for years, decays when it comes in contact with brine or salt (sodium, road salt). These bricks support heavy cast iron lids and covers. After buses, trucks, and heavy traffic roll over them, it renders the thin coating useless. The procedure is to have the basins vactored and washed out prior to this lining but I found this is not done correctly. In fact, an investigator crew was called out when citizens smelled poop water. This was verified by me personally. The water was sprayed into the sidewalk where people walk. This was covered-up by a superior. I have noticed the amount of construction by private contractors has reached a fever pitch. None of this work is supervised by Chicago Inspectors. Daley uses kids to supervise the work. Mayor Daley is hurting Chicago City Workers by paying contractors that give bribes and kickbacks to him and his political machine. I am proud the Laborers Local 1092 fighting for this work for their members. They are aware of the crews on Irving Park just west and east of Cicero Avenue. Chicago Streets Rot, Chicago Workers Fired, Hired Trucks Roll Protest
Many Chicago Teamsters from local 726 sit a home unsure of the next meal or mortgage payment. The trucks they drove rot on a parking lot hidden from public view. The City of Chicago still uses the trucks they lease, while these trucks they own, sit idle. Mayor Daley’s Hired Truck Program is back on track providing work to non-union trucking firms while the taxpayer’s trucks rust. Chicago pays the former employees to sit at home on un-employment and do nothing as the city trucks rust. Trucking companies from the suburbs work as Chicago workers sit at home. We are organizing a food drive for these workers August 13, 2009 at Wright College 4300 North Narragansett in Chicago, after work. If you are a current Chicago City Worker, please bring any canned food items to help those with no job. We will be joined by No-Games Chicago, AFSCME, Teamsters 726 members, and current Chicago City employees. We will have a petition for every City employee to sign and you will be given an option to sue to enforce the agreed 10 year contract. We are going to take issue with the scam agreement unions made with-out member’s vote. This affects many Chicago Local unions. Look over your own shoulder, Daley is going to cut more positions, you might be next. We are also asking all Chicago Unions to reduce the dues now.
